I'm a founder and technologist, and for decades, my work has been driven by one core principle: prevention.
Early in my career, I noticed a fundamental flaw in how we approached problems, especially in technology. We were always in a reactive loop, waiting for something to break, for a fire to start, for a system to be compromised, and then scrambling to clean up the mess. We were getting very good at responding, but we weren't actually stopping the problems from happening in the first place. It felt like building faster fire trucks instead of trying to prevent fires.
My mission became to flip that model on its head. I became convinced that the only true path forward was to get ahead of the problem. I believe that by applying math, science, and artificial intelligence, we can create predictive systems that anticipate and solve challenges before they even manifest. It's about learning from the past so well that you can accurately predict the future.
This journey started in cybersecurity, where we pioneered ways to stop sophisticated attacks before they could execute. But I've found this philosophy of prevention applies to so much more. Today, my focus remains on building technologies that help us get ahead, whether it's securing the very code we write or building more effective, high-performing teams.
Ultimately, it’s all about a fundamental shift in mindset: moving from a culture of reaction to a discipline of prevention.
